Renovation of the Wellness Building & Sauna

Dear guests,

we have been actively planning the redesign of our wellness building for some time now. It was very important to us that the access to the indoor pool remains fully available during this period.

During the company holidays in Spring 2025, the indoor pool café, the entrance area, and the sauna area will be demolished. In the following months, work will continue on the interior construction of these areas.

From May 19, 2025, to mid-December 2025, the indoor pool café, children’s showers/toilets, sauna area, massage rooms, and fitness room (since the passage will be blocked) will not be in operation!

The use of the indoor pool (with all pools, water slide, and relaxation area) will remain available throughout the entire renovation! Access to the indoor pool will temporarily be through a separate entrance. The toilets, changing rooms, and showers in the indoor pool will remain accessible until November 9, 2025, and will then be renovated during the company holidays in November.

If everything goes according to plan, we will open the new wellness building at Christmas 2025. The café will no longer exist in its current form; it will be replaced by a "lounge area" with several vending machines and a family relaxation room with lounge beds. The sauna area will feature multiple saunas, infrared lounge chairs, an ice fountain, cascade showers, a cozy fireplace lounge with a tea bar, 2 large relaxation rooms with daybeds and lounge chairs, and an outdoor terrace.

In the following years, the indoor pool will be expanded with a new water slide world – so stay tuned! :-)

We ask for your understanding that there may occasionally be noise disturbances during the renovation work. We will do our best to ensure that our guests still have a relaxing stay and will especially try to minimize the noise during vacation periods.

The renovation will be a challenge, but we are already looking forward to the final result!

Construction Schedule

Part I – Sanitary Facilities – COMPLETED
09.09.2024 – Start of construction (demolition of the sanitary facilities in the indoor pool basement, new interior construction)
20.12.2024 – Completion of sanitary facilities

Part II – Renovation of entrance area and sauna, demolition of the café – IN PROGRESS
28.04.2025 – Demolition work on the ground floor and 1st floor (indoor pool café, entrance area, and sauna)
19.05.2025 – Start of interior construction of entrance area and sauna
10.11.2025 – Demolition and redesign of showers, changing rooms, and toilets in the indoor pool
20.12.2025 – Completion of all areas
Spring 2026 – Opening of the rooftop garden
